So I want to level with you, yadda yadda, but I haven't watched K-On. If anything I don't think I'll like it. Or have had that feeling before. I'm sure it's great. Fine. pruddy guud.

It's the most okayish show out there. And with that I mean it's bland and completely forgettable. Hell, I regret remembering what it is about. If it was just bland bad it would be better for the show as it gets something more than being neutrally bland.

I really know nothing of it. It's just a feeling I get from the images/silent webm's I've seen. I just liked Haruhi and Lucky Star so much, I didn't think I would like K-On (and at the time Kyoani was like the only studio I knew), so I guess I didn't want to 'ruin' them for me, and just went on to other things.

I don't even have any real desire to watch it. Usually I'm driven purely by some whim.

It is the anime equivalent of angel food cake. It's light and sweet. It'll make you feel good for a little while (unless you've got something against sweet things) but if you're looking for something with substance it won't satisfy you. It won't leave you with any poignant questions or anything like that but it's very good at what it does, that being create a coherent progression of cute things to lift the spirit. The people who have a problem with it are basically telling you that angel food cake isn't a real dinner. To that I say, shut the fuck up mom I'm 26 I'll eat whatever I want of course it isn't but that doesn't mean it's bad. Know what you're eating, and eat it accordingly.
