Most hilarious is that gifv is just imgur being retarded and naming webm something else. Gif animated images have no place in current day usage. It's inferior in all and any ways.

Hard g, but only really because I know there's another image format, the JPEG Interchange Format which is usually pronounced with the soft g sound and usually has the file-extension .jiff.

 

Occasionally I call them "Compuserves" because that's where the format came from.
