First we got to get you to work on the Inactivity problem. Maybe Jon should code a Jorost-Bot that take care of the 3-5 clicks that needed on CN in order to say out of inactive mode.

Have you tried turning it off and back on again? Yea lets go ahead and turn it off and back on again. Have you tried unplugging the network cable and plugging it back in again? Yea lets go ahead and unplug the network cable and plug it back in again.
Still not working? Does it have ink? Let's go ahead an take out the ink cartridge and put it back in again? Still not working? Alright well you are gonna have to put in a work order, we will send someone out there to look at it for $100 an hour minimum one hour.

My uncle has done that seriously and went out there, it didn't have paper.

Wow. So four years of school and I get basically get "jiggle the handle?" I take my congratulations back. :P

 

Anyway it's something to do with the new wireless network. They futzed around with it today and now it works. That guy had the same degree as you. :)

Seriously, I try to minimize my work tickets to tech support. I know what kind of stupid nonsense they get. I know to do the basics myself. I only call them when I am stumped/no longer care enough to expend the effort.

9/10th of the people on this forum will help you for free (The other 1/10 you need you Pay 6M/200 Tech). Just post the problem on the geek section (or the IRC) and your problem will get fixed. It like the ultimate tech support(Which half of the members(or more) is Highly Trained on electronics/computers)

Idk. Sometimes my printer won't work. And it's one of those wireless printers that connect to your network. We will go to print and it just says printer offline. So we check the printer and its on, connected to the network. And I'm just like... Welp, idk. I'll try restarting, reconnecting, doing the same with my computer. Nothing. Then I unplug the router and reset that and everything works fine. Idk technology just fucks up sometimes.
