I promise I'll provide both logistical technological solutions for the 20th century!
1. Thorium- Thorium is a great and powerful energy source that has roughly the energy content as uranium. Despite this, it is fertile, not fissile, which means it can't sustain a chain reaction and therefore has no potential for a melt down. Always being sub critical, the liquid salt thorium designs alone can mitigate much of the problems associated with uranium reactor costs, including safety restrictions and obtaining fuel.
Thorium is 3-4 times more abundant than uranium, and roughly 3 times as abundant as tin and about as abundant as lead. Being mostly harmless, thorium produces alpha particles which can't get through the skin, and is present in at least 1/8000th concentrations of dirt. The United states has thousands of tons of Thorium in storage, and easily enough for the catalysts used in plutonium driven designs.
That's right, the Thorium power cycle cleans up nuclear waste, has no chance of a melt down, and due to the lack of a need for a breeding process, as well as additional safety hazards given the lack of a possibility for a melt down, Thorium is an abundant, cheap, and available power source present in large amounts in America, India, Norway and even Australia!
Thorium also promises the absence of nuclear waste build up and could potentially be well over 10 times cheaper when accounting for the lack of safety restrictions, breeding process, the inherent safety and volume of the fuel source!
2. National Banking System- Current for profit and dangerous banking systems simply want your money to destroy you and steal all your homes. With a government non-profit for business loaning systems, cars, homes and public as well as rent housing could drop considerably!
Current 3.5% interest market housing rates could mean a 205% cost on your house in 30 years, in addition to doubling the cost of rent and public transportation! If a non-profit low interest bank was developed, with the stability and backing of trillions of dollars, just for car and housing loans, interest rates could easily plummet virtually doubling the standard of living overnight just by changing around logistics!
In that way, a National banking system would be right for you!
The United States used to have one, until it was closed down by Andrew Jackson, whom tried to wage genocide on the Native Americans despite lacking congressional approval.
3. Lowering Taxes on the middle class and poor- A tax cut for the poor is a tax cut for the rich. Presumably, the majority of rich people got rich as a result of free market capitalism; as a result, giving consumers more money means more money in the economy!
If rich people were to have their taxes stay the same, as well as corporations, over 50% of the money spent in the tax cuts could go back to the government, and essentially even a portion back to employees (if you believe in the trickle down theory)! Combined with the improvement on the economy, this nations economy could improve without overspending by the government!
This is the most logistically efficient way to give almost everyone a tax break, and improve the economy!
4. What about the Unemployed?- Some people just can't seem to find a job. Whether by the like of job options or the end of their labor, some people seem stuck without the prospects of finding a job when businesses say "good enough" and refuse to hire. That's why I plan to make a portion of the social security program a job producing unit!
While government jobs had traditionally filled the role of service, manufacturing is a prospect direly needed by the government and American people!
While many people may question the value of cheap "socialists" goods, such as shirts or shoes, due to the fact that these "inferior" goods will likely under sell name brand clothing and other products while government manufacturing will go to previously untapped consumers, such as the poor, whom can't afford to buy name brand clothing in the first place!
In addition to the cheap power provided and reduced cost of living thanks to the national bank, the cost of living should go down considerably and the value of the dollar should go a much longer way, especially removing a base cost of living. In this way the standard of living can be exemplified without the government paying for unnecessary loans, unworked people whom don't live well on government money, and a myriad of other things!
In this way we can improve our economy, well being of all and standard of living and spending by the government doesn't need to go up! Being non-profit, even if sales are inferior as long as the process breaks even people with social security repayment benefits, or "J.O.B."'s, will hopefully pay back their money received with services and manufacturing production virtually making their money received Debt Neutral!
Potentially entrepreneurs can even take on these workers for whatever jobs desired, for a small fee!
5. Anything to do with the fear of food or other silly nonsense like water running out- Aquaponics gardens! Since the government subsidizes agriculture it wouldn't be too difficult to start the funding of auqaponics gardens!
Unlike regular gardens, aqua ponics allows for one of the most efficient growing processes available! Utilizing the waste of the fish, the waste can the be used to grow plants, while the fish gain natural, clean cleaning of nitrates and waste previously incapable of being dumped or removed from water.
In return, large amounts of fresh crops and mercury free fish are provided from well controlled habitats that don't require fertilizer or pesticides giving the movement of the water and the fish providing food as well as plants cleaning the water in a well controlled ecosystem!
Growing plants on vines, rather than trees, nearly 10 times the food could be grown from local stores on raised shelved in perfectly controlled greenhouses without the need for pesticides, fertilizer, or other harmful chemicals! Said gardens could be grown on rooves and serve as a way to provide Americans with freshly grown local food!
Since roughly 85% of our water consumption goes to agriculture, this could reduce that too!
So there you go, why I should be president!
Although technological solution's are theoretically capable of being implemented by any president, no president has discussed real solutions for solving our problems yet.
