So I'm the only one against the death penalty.
That's another one I changed because I'm a shaky shaky leaf.
Should we consider the question more straight forward, as a government sanctioned death as punishment for a crime, or could it apply to a more personal level? Not to mention, I don't believe the death penalty is moral, however I could make (and see) the argument, if it's part of a larger social contract.
The issue is, people are born, and are thrust into an existence-a life where it is what it is, without their consent whatsoever. But I'm waxxing more on the organization and contract of individual people with society as we form civilizations.
It's the same thing as cloning (or giving birth honestly). I can't say giving birth to a child, continuing life (it's a rather important thing) is morally wrong or unacceptable
, but I'm actually someone who would argue the case that it's morally grey? to thrust life upon someone who had no choice in the manner, and who must now live with that.
But that's just life itself. It's kinda fucked up. But for life to exist, you have to accept that. Sins of the father. So everyone is born pure, and that has to be a good thing, but it's not so white and pure. I could not seriously argue, because I can not believe, that life is not precious and correct. But, why. It's just, what I know. It is existence. What else would we do
But, that's why I said suicide is morally acceptable. I think it is wrong. Even morally wrong, but what does anyone owe anything? You simply exist. Good or bad, you're your own universe. You are the vessel, and the only person who must ultimately answer for what you are in this universe.
But to remove your own life. How can that be anything but wrong? But how can I judge anyone. Or force them to do anything. Literally anything.
The marriage question, I think may be my exception to "acceptable" because it's an explicit bond between two people (for as much as that can, or is, worth) that is broken. If it's a good marriage, you wouldn't get so far as to have an affair. Even cheating would come before that. But an affair, implies a period of time of distraught tension and multiple "cheatings".
Looking over it again, I was actually very inconsistent with how I interpreted each of the questions.
I believe in morals, but I'm willing to forgive anyone. We're all just humans fam. It's okay. Not cool, but you're cool fam. Just try to smile.
