So, Heart of the Swarm is being released in March. And because it's awesome and I'm a diehard Zerg player, I'll be playing Kerrigan. Regardless of the theme.

 

What I'm thinking is, we should totally do Starcraft as a month theme.

 

Jorost could be the Overmind, Prince Vegeta could be Admiral DuGalle, Phate could be Raynor :3, Thrash could be the Vulture Pilot, etc.

It'd be fun

Wow.  I literally have no idea what anything in that first paragraph means.

 

If people are down with it it's okay with me.  But my enthusiasm level will be low.  I am not familiar with Starcraft, and dislike video games in general.

 

Although I do like the idea of being called the Overmind.

I intensely dislike *craft games.

 

Actually the only modern RTS I really liked was AoE. And it strikes me as being largely inferior to Myth, the granddaddy of them all.

Pff, whatever. It's the story thing I grew up with. My first online handle was "KerrigansLittleSister" so... yeah

 

Yes, Jorost. Teh overmind is a huge alien brain that controls the whole Zerg swarm. It knows everything. It's smarter than everyone else... also, it can open wormholes with it's intense brain...ness.

 

And it has a cool voice.

 

And is a part time DJ.

FYI: Jorost, this is the Overmind:

 

 

And this is, in order of appearance, Kerrigan (who takes over the swarm after the Overmind is so rudely killed), Arcturus Mengsk (Emperor of the Dominon), Artanis (Teenage Protoss Military prodigy and essentially the one last hope of his kind), and Admiral DuGalle (badass leader of the Totally Not Starship Troopers team):

 

 

I always like how Kerrigan always pretends to not be freaking out. Even when she actually is. And her epic sadistic-ness :3
