When I hear myself saying "h" it sounds like "ehch" to me.

We gave a friend of mine - an Irish gal - a necklace with an "H" dangling for her birthday as it was the only thing she didn't have.

 

"aitch" b/c I'm a southern American.  "zed" b/c it pisses off and confuses my neighbors; also b/c it just sounds funny.  "dubyuh" b/c I have to spell my name for everyone and that is the last letter in my last name.
