tl;dr
The demons of hell are trying to takeover/destroy the world. You, hero, must band together with other mortals and stop their reign of terror!
If you like anything fantasy based (i.e. swords, magic, etc) this game is the shit.
Definitely not for children either. This game makes WoW look like a cartoon, which, imho, it is.

That's where gear/runes comes in.
Personally, I love the fact that there are no stat points.
Nothing worse than fucking up your build and having to start all over again.
