I saw this too. It's interesting, but don't hold your breath. None of those tests were performed under  scientifically rigorous controlled conditions. It's extremely suspicious, for example, that the kid only does the mind-reading trick with his mother. More likely he is reading subtle facial cues or other body language. My guess is that it will crumble under scrutiny.
