The problem Kiwi is that you have been lied to about being able to change your country. You know you can't, you've never been able to. Everyone, and I mean everyone thought Obama would do something. Both in your country, and out of it. The reason you and everyone else is so wigged out about Trump is cause of hype. Same kind of hype that No Mans Sky fed on, the kind that can't be fulfilled.
The threat you've got with the Trump ticket is that it could make things worse. Maybe you don't give a shit about foreign policy, fair enough. But what you've gotta watch out for is this Pence guy. Hard right, fundamentalist, Young Earth Creationist who is against womans rights. That's how the Republicans see their way out of this, they're going to pander to the moralist right, and it's going to put the USA right back in with the crackpot religious African nations.
Hillary Clinton, as criminal as she is, as terrible as she is, as twofaced and manipulative as she is, will never regress the social freedoms of the United States. The Republicans have made it a policy.
The only thing that is important in this or any other election, is don't believe the hype. These people have spent decades figuring out how to trick you into voting against yourself, your beliefs, and your freedoms. They are very, very good at it. Vote Trump if and only if you agree with the Republican party policies, and I mean if you do, sure whatever (that goes for all of you reading this, my beef is not with you if you're a Republican voter, I only care about swing voters). But don't vote for Trump or Hillary because you support either one of them. Vote for the party policies themselves, cause that's all that matters.
