I've noticed that there is a regular rhythm to daily forum activity.  I work from 8AM-3PM or thereabouts, and I usually check in to the forums at least a couple times a day (unless it's crazy busy in my office, which is not unusual!).  In the morning there are usually a few people around and posting (Haf often posts at 6-7AM), but by noontime it usually trickles away, and then after lunch it's often as dead as a tomb for a couple hours.  What time of day are you most active on the forums?

 

For the sake of simplicity we'll keep it to CN server times (US Central Time).

Honestly can't answer, because it varies so much, to the point where I've been accused of never sleeping.

you can select multiple ones though. Like i selected all of them between 4pm - 6am CST.

Due to my 2nd shift job schedule. I am active at 10AM to 12PM , 10PM to 2AM, and sometime later.

 

I miss third shift.

Few hours before, and then after Update. Unless I'm not.

And usually I come on, and some forums I ignore (introduction/newbie forum? gross). I open all the chat threads, generally look at the titles of the music ones, and all the strip polls. I read all the new posts, try to be fair & balanced in which ones I like, and then hopefully don't have to respond if my views have been represented/I decided I ain't touching it.

Then other forum areas, then anything I didn't touch, I mark the whole forum as read, and check back in 10 minutes / next time I'm bored.

The options are in game server time.

 

I'm usually a night owl myself, but I often check in during the day when I have a moment.  The problem is that if I try to start writing anything during the day I get interrupted constantly by kids with medical complaints, so it generally takes me five times longer than it should to actually complete a thought.

I think Jorost was actually correct on this one. In this particular community, going by game time is likely the best call.
