Premise: You have the opportunity to travel 100 years into the future, but it is a one-way trip and you do not know what you will find when you get there. It could be a futuristic utopia, or it could be a burned-out Mad Max style hellscape. Would you go? What would you expect to find?

I think I'd do it. It would be a gamble, to be sure. They'd be more advanced than us technologically, I would think, unless of course some worldwide catastrophe had caused us to regress. I would be really pissed if I went 100 years into the future only to find that we had fallen back to 19th-century levels of technology because some massive solar flare had caused modern technology to fail. That would SUCK. I would be SOOOO pissed.

 

Plus it would prolly be all steampunk and that shit would get old fast.

I don't know. I love people here, and like people here, and kind of want to experience the future and see where mankind is going, right in the tick of it, so I suppose not, but if things got bad enough, yeah, I suppose. xP

Nope wouldn't do it. What if all the cool stuff is only 50 years away? I'll take enjoying the present instead of the burden of seeing what the future will be.

I have too much investment in the present to take such a big gamble on the future. There are people I would be unwilling to leave behind.

 

Turtles are alright though.
