So, I was wondering if I should get rid of my PS3 and replace it with an XBox. Can I get Netflix on the Xbox. What advantages does it give me over the PS3?

ewe. xbox sucks weiners. yes you can get netflix on the xbox.

xbox doesn't play bluray dvds though. xbox doesn't have amazon instant video either.

If you have the money, skills, and ethic set to become a PC master. You gotta get them all (referring to all the necessary parts, mods, drivers, and DRM free downloadable things to actually play); other wise if you already have the PS3 and aren't a fan boy, why not go with xbox? It has a pretty good record behind it.

The XBox does do netflix, but you have to have XBox Live Gold. I don't know how much that costs in the US, up here it's $60 per year. Gold is also required for playing games online, and doing most everything online with the XBox except getting DLCs, which are paid for separately with Microsoft points.

It would of course be perfectly reasonable to buy a cheap XBox and have both of them. Get rid of the PS3 if you never use it again then. B)

You can get the code for live sent to your email for $49 from different online stores. Sometimes Walmart has it for that.

Xbox. It has better games. It has a better community. And Halo 4 is one of the best, if not the best, multiplayer shooter ever made. EVER.

No. You pay microsoft points the same way you buy dlc on PSN. The only difference is it uses a different currency. The playstation uses dollars, and microsoft, microsoft points.

I believe the point is that you still have to buy MS points with real money. Or a gold subscription.

You pay for Netflix? Lame. Just use someone else's account. I share a Gold account and Netflix(3 of these actualy 0.0) with other ppl. Its free for me and rarely an issue. Fuck blue ray. Go buy an xbox.

Thrash, if you only going to use your PS3/360 for media, I would suggest a solid blueray player. Significantly cheaper than both, still able to watch netflix, and don't lose blueray capability
