I started a Football League (and that's association football, not American, Aussie Rules, or rugby) on Xpert Eleven. It's open to all Red Dawn alliances.

I need (at the very least) five teams (not counting my own) within three weeks so that we can get this going.

I am really looking forward to this , I am new so you can take it easy on me ..Hell it don't hurt to try. I am hoping I can get Hellbilly signed up, and a couple other NACers seem interested. I am fine with games on any night.. sad to say but I have a computer addiction.

Season to start Oct. 4

As the general consensus is for the league to run on Mondays and Fridays, I will have our first season start on 4 October. However, the league info page still shows us playing on Tuesdays and Fridays. Here's why:

Once I create the season, no new teams can join. Thus, I'm making it known to everyone that I won't be creating our first season until 1 October.

Therefore, if you want to create a team in the Red Dawn Federation, they must do so by 1 October. Else, you're on the outside looking in.

Again, we will be playing two leagues games a week for the first season. Once we have enough teams, we'll experiment with a knock-out tournament.

Until then, SET UP FRIENDLIES! I'm already scheduled to play the Kentucky Colonels on Tuesday.

Ehh, it was nothing.

Editor's note: what the student wasn't aware of was the first-ever match in the Red Dawn Federation was taking place as he or she was sleeping in and procrastinating on his or her English paper. But sadly, he or she didn't miss much, as only three shots were attempted between Billy Jewell's Madmen and the Kentucky Colonels. In case you're curious of those shots, how they missed, and why they're not worth remembering in the long run:

I have one team on standby; he's from a micro alliance with close ties to a Red Dawn alliance. If I get one more today I'll have 12, which will allow us to split into two divisions next season.

If I get five, I'll pony up the $31, sign up for VIP status, and establish a two-division league, eight teams in each division, with postseason playoffs.

The cutoff is today. Sign up NAO or wait until Christmas.

Sulleh's Slaves and Santaland Spurs are 2-0-0.
Billy Jewell's Madmen and Celtic FC are both 1-1-0.
Blue Kangaroos stand at 1-0-1.
Kentucky Colonels and Marauders remain out of the win and loss column, both with two draws apiece.
The Confederates, Sir Glen's Normans, Cult of Justitia, and Saftig Korven are 0-1-1.
Eintracht have lost both their games.

I still haven't figured out what most of the stuff in the game means, or how to do anything, and their help sucks. I will probably figure it out eventually, but it's not very userfriendly.
