Well, Cruz is down, straight into the massive chasm of a ditch that Trump has left in his wake, as I'm sure we've all seen. Which means Trump's got it. Sure Kasich might stay around, but nobody is going to vote for establishment-man.
As for the Democrats, they've basically chosen their flavor, and the flavor is exactly as I expected. Pragmatism over idealism, the safe choice over change. Take that Sanders supporters, how does it feel to know that your "Revolution" has been crushed by carefully constructed propaganda and lifelong indoctrination? Hahahahahahahaha! Best just go mad like me and laugh at it all
What I believe we've seen is the Obama Effect, except from the other side of the fence. The anti-establishment, paranoid, insular side of politics. The side of politics that has been long cultivated by a country that uses it to force conservatism and tilt the entire game in the favor of those who already have money. It doesn't matter if you're leftist or strong libertarian, we both agree that the way the US govt currently plays it's hand in the economy and in the lives of it's citizens is all kinds of wrong. The forces harnessing this distrust and malcontent have lost control, and now they're going to pay for it.
Which means, as far as I'm concerned, at this point it's Game Over.
I'm calling a 2016-20 Trump Presidency at the very least, with a comfortable margin over Clinton.
May the gods of the internet have mercy upon us all.
