Which superhuman power would you choose, given the option between teleportation and mind control, and why?

Details below...

Teleportation. You can teleport anywhere within your line of sight, and anywhere you have already been. The range is limitless. So if you have been to Paris, you could teleport to Paris. Basically the same as in the movie Jumper. As for what you can teleport: yourself, your clothes, items in your pockets, etc., and cargo up to half your body weight. That much cargo takes a great deal of effort, however. You do not know what would happen if you tried to teleport with a living passenger.

Mind Control. You can telepathically seize control of the mind of any person within your line of sight and compel them to do your bidding. Once you have established control, you can retain it even if the victim leaves your line of sight, at an unlimited range. But once you relinquish control of an individual (or if your hold is broken), they would need to be in your line of sight for you to re-establish control. You can control up to four people at a time, but the more people you are controlling the more difficult it becomes.

In this scenario, would having the power of mind control grant immunity from being mind controlled yourself?

Inquiring minds wish to know.

If it's mine, or someone else's, the end result is fingers on keys, and posts from this account. Who can say who controls what.

But you didn't even make the choices fair. It sounds like you get control of them no matter what. Like your powers are overwhelming for any person, and they can't attack you back.

No, you cannot be controlled yourself. And no, people cannot resist. But someone with an especially strong will might take some effort.

I would take the power of mind control for the passive immunity only.

the real question is can a mind controller controll the mind of a teleporter and then have that person use their power....but when used does the connection sever?

Mind control, then take control of the president, Putin, that kind of thing.

Maybe the world would be peaceful at once. Very least give myself a raise. Make myself a CEO.

Unfortunately more useful than teleportation.

I would take mind control because mind control.

Also because Shokkou has clearly started a cold war in terms of superpower potentials, probably because I would in any case take mind control.

Shokkou may turn a cold mind towards me, but I'll be hot if I get superpowers.

And I would hope everyone would choose mind control, not for the ability to control minds but for the security of having one's own mind protected against control. If everyone has the power of mind control, no one can control anyone's mind... which is exactly the situation I would want.

Teleportation, just because it seems far more immediately useful for me. While it is true that mind control may also enable me to easily travel about, I'd worry about the long-term consequences of forcing my way onto planes.
