Yes, I am alive. Shocking, I know. As some of you undoubtedly know, I live out in California now, working for Uncle Sam and all that jazz. It's been a very busy year or so.

I've also started getting involved in EVE Online, which, as you may have heard, is going to a limited sort of free to play. If y'all are interested in internet spaceships without having to pay a fee, take a look. F2P comes out on November 15th and they've got lots of exciting stuff planned. Internet spaceships is serious business.

Above all, look me up in game. My main character is Wirespeed91.

Haha, tempting but the paperwork to get you into the restricted areas would be too much of a hassle.

As for what I do... Well, as much fun as it would be to say that I'd have to kill you if I told you, what I do really is really not that exciting. Its also kind do hard to explain. Basically, I do reliability, maintainability, and availability (RM&A) analysis for the US Navy, which basically involves taking in maintenance reports from navy ships and the like, and then turning those into metrics which I write reports about. Essentially, you could say that I write consumer reports, except for the navy.

Kinda a boring job, to tell the truth. But its important, someone has to do it, and it's pretty low stress with no real need for any sort of overtime and good benefits. At the end of the day, I can't complain.
