This is an interesting thread. I have no favorite YouTubers. In fact, I cannot name even a single YouTuber. Which is not to say that I haven't seen funny or entertaining YouTube videos, because I have. But usually these are things that someone else has shared with me, and while I might enjoy them, it never occurs to me to check out anything else by the same YouTuber. For the most part I think of them as funny little distractions, not fully realized and produced pieces of entertainment. Partly it's a production-quality thing — a lot of YouTube videos still have low production quality compared to professionally-produced entertainment. I like stuff to look good, which is a big part of the reason that I really don't post much to YouTube myself. God knows I have the equipment and the desire, but nothing ever comes out the way I want it to come out. I rarely produce anything of the level of quality I would want to share.
