I went to Staples and had a 2-foot diameter print of the Invicta Roundel made.  I'm going to spray mount it onto a piece of presentation board and then use it as the Great Seal of Invicta when I make video addresses.  Pic below, banana for scale.

 

I also picked up a gorilla costume today.  So there's that.

Alright, well, so much for that. 

 

After spending nearly two hours today driving around trying to find a piece of presentation board big enough for the Roundel, I finally found one, got it home, spray mounted it, and started painfully exacto-ing it out.  And then I ruined it.  Trimmed the edges too messy with the exacto, which already had me pissed off, and then when I was finally done I noticed there was an air bubble trapped under the paper.  So I did what any normal person would do:  I got pissed and destroyed the whole thing.  Ah, nothing like $50 down the drain.

 

I'll try again in a couple days.

I'm going to have to find a better way to do it, because it's clear to me that DIY is not going to cut it.  I need to find a way to have it professionally mounted and cut, so that the circle is perfectly round and without flaws.

I don't think Kinko's can cut the circle.  Staples can't.

The problem is that I can't anchor anything in the center without damaging the Roundel.  Remember, I can't cut it until AFTER it's spray-mounted, and I can't cut the back side because I need to be able to line it up with the edge of the Roundel.

Only drawback is that ??? in this case is replaced by 'diembowlment of circle cutter operator'.

Ana, can you send me one of the big Roundel images with a thin, light line around it?  Grey is fine, so I can print it grayscale.  I just want it as a cutting line.  Leave a white "lip" the same thickness at the black line, maybe a scosche thicker.  Basically, what I realized cutting it out today is that cutting right up to the edge of the black line looks funny in RL.  It needs a border.  Like in my first picture.
