What do ya'll think? I am in the market for AV again and am not sure what to get. I can get my hands on Symantec Endpoint Protection and I believe McAfee Virus Scan Enterprise through the DoD, I also have a license of McAfee Total Protection at home that I could use, but I believe that license will run out in a few months. I installed McAfee VSE a few years ago and it blue screened on two brand new computers on install so I gave up on that. I then used SEP until I was tired of its intrusion detection notifications on my fucking homegroup. I have two computers I am needing to protect, IDGAF what my family uses at home. One laptop is my daily use, gaming, and school system, while the other laptop is yet to be bought and will be used overseas while working so SEP may actually be the better choice. What do you IT guys think around here?
Also I am trying out NordVPN and its pretty cool and cheap. I am buying 1 year for $36 and they have a kill switch to be used with programs and I will be looking at configuring either windows firewall or comodo firewall or w/e I get to act as a total kill switch. That way it can only connect to the VPN servers and also likely the domain name of NordVPN if I can do that.
