I have no idea what I'm doing with my life.
Daily.
Welcome to adulting my friend.
I'm the same way. I wish I would have been as passionate about sports, particularly football, as I am now. I would have loved to have been able to play sports at a professional, or even the college level. I was a "late bloomer" when it came to that and with my mindset now, I would have dedicated myself to it. But at 27 in a month, that's unrealistic to think that way now because I'd be "old" in professional sports. So for the moment I have to settle at being the CFO of a company I hate and the only game I'm good at is war in this game or being good at Madden because I understand the nuances of the sport and what to do in certain game situations and nerdy crap like that. I'll be the first to tell you that it's a waste. So let me take the time to tell any people in here who are still in high school or college, that if you don't want to end up hating your future job or profession, take the time to look into what really interests you and work and go after it. Because I'm still trying to figure that shit out, and while I'm lucky enough that what I do pays pretty well, it's not something I want to do when I'm 40, much less 30. It's good to have a backup plan, but go after what you really want to do first and keep working hard for it. You can play it safe later if it comes to that.
Sorry if that got depressing. Not what I intended when I started typing it.
