Pretty simple. If you had to choose between death, let's say by some relatively painless method like lethal injection, or life in prison with no chance of parole, which would you choose? I think I'd rather be dead.

Depends, am I guilty during the sentencing?

Guilty = Death ( Should I have killed someone I would give the family the pleasure of shooting me in the head. )
Not Guilty = Prision

Death most definitely. I am a father and wouldn't want my daughter growing up knowing her father is a loser and is in jail for the rest of his life. And honestly what do you have to look forward to in prison? Butt rape and 3 hots and a cot? No thank you

Life in jail would be a lot more luxurious then how I'm living now, so I'll go that route.

It's funny also that you mention 3 hots and a cot. If ONLY that's what it was like.

You live a life of luxury while you are incarcerated. You cost the taxpayers close to 100k/year. You have access to TV, Internet, workout rooms, etc, etc, etc.

I would probably choose prison. Although part of me wishes I would choose death. However realistically speaking I am aware that I am a stubborn bastard and really not willing to lay down and die.

I have spent a lot of time visiting a loved one in prison. It is not a "life of luxury." Once again, you probably shouldn't believe everything Fox News tells you.

It's not a luxury for everyone by no means but there are some places where it is :P

You seem to forget the ones giving out the raping :P
And I'm quite sure some of those people like it quite well. And no I'm talking about a few ( a very select few) that have the cable, the really good meals, etc... I forgot where I saw it (it wasn't a news station but some documentary on like the History channel or something) that showed how some get it pretty good.

For myself, if the choice was between painless death and life in prison with no chance of ever getting out, I'd take death. Of course, if I had the option of a painless death right now I'd probably take it, so maybe I'm not the best example!

I choose death and you are simply overlooking that fact that I have said some, a select few. And I didn't limit it to this country, take a look at this prison http://www.bitrebels...n-is-in-norway/ If I had a choice between death and that prison I would say give me the lube.
