Yeah, but you're still considering Asia to be 'east' in that regard, which is still a Eurocentric connotation. I'm not saying those religions aren't Western religions geographically, but if you're grouping religions by geography, rather than by central tenants, you're going to end up with beliefs being grouped together that have virtually no commonalities, such as Abrahamic religions and Dharmic religions. Which is why both the terms 'Western' and 'Eastern' are ludicrous to use, but it doesn't change the fact that Abrahamism and Dharmism share no central beliefs which would lead one to reasonably consider them part of the same grouping as opposed to any of the other 'Western' religions you listed.

What I mean is that it focuses on the way of life rather than how and who you should worship. Yes they have shinto shrines buddha statues. But the scriptures are not about god. They are about how one or many should live. Where as, say christianity, is all about worshipping god and how you should live to appease god. And for those of you who wish to be technical. Popular WESTERN religions vs popular EASTERN religions.

Abrahamic and Dharmic religions have a lot more in common with each other than they do with any of the genuinely European religions, like Greek, Norse and Celtic.

It's just that we don't talk about European religions anymore because nobody follows them. They just get used to make lousy films mostly. B)
