Anybody here lift weights on the reg and put them back down just as regularly? Any other chicken and rice guzzlers?

I want to go, but idk how to gym.

Also I've not been making time, so even cooking my own chicken/rice, and doing some exercises has stopped.

Hold me (with your strong arms).

Callisthetnics + basic free weight excercises + chicken and rice.

Cut out sugary drinks, particularly fruits and sodas, try to switch to diet, and cut your bread at least in half, like throw off the top bun of hamburgers. A single slice of bread is about 70 calories so, imagine what liek, an entire loaf or something is like. Try to eat fruits instead of candies, honey instead of sucrose. You'll find you can do at least 90% of it at home xD

Vary the cardio, run, walk, jog, swim, bike etc. so you don't wear out your joints or get burnt out. Walk when you are tired or sick. Lift less on those times. Try to maintain a schedule since breaking it ends the whole cycle. Pretty much it, mang.

Eat as healthily as possible and try to learn how to cook basically. I love a crockpot. All the fun of marinating, none of the work. Just throw it in there, cook for 8 hours, boom, done. Zucchini and squash can surprisingly replace bread in virtually all instances. Creole seasoning goes good with everything, as does seasoned pepper. Vary your cumun, lemon pepper, and garlic salt. Bellpeppers, green onion's, lemons and limes add to almost any dish. Pretty simple. Get a crockpot. ...? Profit.

The hardest part of going to the gym is getting into a routine. Once you start allocating time make sure you actually go no matter how tired or lazy you feel. I find it is best to go earlier in the day and get it out of the way so you can do other stuff later. On that note it is also important to not go when you have a lot of work that day, are sleep deprived, dehydrated, and you haven't eaten well.

If you aren't sure what exercises to do invest in a personal trainer. Lifting is all about form. If you lift with bad form you aren't doing the exercise correctly and could injure yourself.

I only know what I'm doing through years of doing things wrong and YouTube videos.

At the end of the day it all comes down to food. My problem is that I don't eat enough so I make slow progress at times. Other people over eat and get fat. A lot of it is genetics but counting calories is the best way to ensure you are putting the right amount of stuff into your body. I use a calorie counter app called myfitnesspal
