Alright, I'm getting fucking tired of this. Everytime I log onto the forums there is a new thread about politics and you guys begin to bicker in it, and then one of you pisses off the other and then the go on a rant about it. This is getting tiring. I thought this place was for fun, not for political bickering?!

I enjoy them to a point but it gets old, because no one is going to change their stance and we end up arguing in circles. Maybe a political sub-forum where you have to ask for a mask to view it.

Yeah and then it just turns into a "I'm right and you're wrong" argument where no one really gains ground and it just gets personal. It's always fun in the beginning but it soon starts to get repetitive.

I like this idea.

in NpO, we had a subforum for "OOC debates" in which all this took place. If you didn't want to read it, you simply never go to that subforum.

No more goddam subforums. This is the open chat room, politics and current events are almost by definition going to be a part of that. If you don't want to participate, don't go into the thread. It's usually pretty clear from the title what it's going to be about.

Anyway half the time we venture off into tangents, then more tangents, until eventually we're talking about gnomes or starships or something.
