I don't know what to do now. Get on to finishing the manga I guess ahead of the release (and translation since I'm still a pleb).

I don't know if you've actually used this (the new) avatar before or not, but this was the one I was remembering, for what it's worth.

I didn't know that was being made/sold.

I'm extremely salty I didn't know and the 1st editions are sold out.

Wouldn't I like to tell you? Since posting this, I've sadly grown increasingly skeptical that I'm going to get a book at all, and I'm not sure if it's paranoia or not. Here's what I know:

• Yen Press has announced the second printing due to overwhelming demand and has said that only some of the preorderers will get a numbered version.
• RightStuf has begun selling the second printing, which they've slightly raised the price of (from US$112.49 to US$119.99), and have sent out emails to preorderers saying the numbered versions are not guaranteed due to overselling.
• Amazon.com claims to have sold out, while Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.de make no such claims and are still taking preorders—as is Amazon.ca, which has actually lowered the price by nearly C$50, while still claiming to be selling the numbered edition.

I don't think Amazon's international affiliates have any idea how many copies are available, and that's worrying me considerably.

All in all, if I don't get a numbered copy, I'm not too concerned; I don't expect it at this point, and didn't know at the time I purchased it that it was as limited as it is anyway. But if I get an email from Amazon on 4 October saying they don't have a book available for me at all, some customer service rep is going to be having a very bad day.
