The thing that really pisses is me off is that this is how they keep us divided. They keep America divided up into camps, left and right, liberal and conservative, MSNBC and Fox News. They divide us up and they feed us propaganda and get us all worked about gay marriage or legalizing pot or gun control. Guns, God, and Gays. And both sides feed into it. Although their views are generally closer to my own, I give MSNBC no more credence as a legitimate news source than I do Fox News. That's why you don't see me posting Rachel Maddow on here. It's not that I disagree with her, necessarily, it's that she's a propagandist. As such I do not see her, nor any of her colleagues at MSNBC or Fox, as legitimate news sources.
The best TV news can generally be found at the PBS NewsHour. It's the closest thing we have in America to BBC News. But I will warn you: If you are accustomed to the flashier style of CNN, Fox, and the like, the NewsHour is going to seem very dry. Dull even. But very accurate. And they never report on lurid nonsense like the Anthony Weiner case in anything but passing (in his case maybe just to mention that scandal has badly hurt his chances in the NYC mayoral race, for example). But yeah, it makes 60 Minutes look like Entertainment Tonight.
