My real fear is Twitter just gets replaced over time. I'd like if social media of that sort fades from prominence.

Forum supremacy Rex.

I definitely agree, though. Everyone's racing to find what platform's going to be the 'next' Twitter, and I'm just… eh.

Don't get me wrong, there're a lot of good things about it as a platform, but I can't help feeling I was better off before I became addicted to the constant drip-feed of information (which by and large isn't informative).

Twitter is likely going to be better than it ever has been, and Elon Musk taking over has already been pretty amazing with all the reveals and him firing 90% of the staff and so on. Child porn is already down on the sight substantially, for example, and he brought all my favorite people back, including Trump. That being said, I wouldn't mind more activity here

I try to realize when I'm addicted or sipping something that's not good for me at all. But it's difficult.

It would be best if a lot of these poisons weren't around, acting as magnetic cesspools.

C'est la vie.
