Interesting article.

Some of my thoughts... We already do microchip our pets, soon our kids and then us... I think eventually. They also track cars and the cell phones through the GPS's .. so in a way we are truly never off the grid.

I think some skills will never be gotten rid of completely. I think this because although robots can get the job done efficiently and quickly, there will still be times that that those are not the objectives. (Like painters, carpenters, welders, etc. People with those skills will always be able to create and design)
