I'm not talking about "Arab" or "Persian", I'm talking about Iran and a few other countries with their radical leaders. These statements aren't out dated, they were in 2008-2013. Many of the other people feel the same way.
I already posted it, many times. This is the supreme leader of Iran, who makes most of the decisions. Is it not important? If you're worried about it being from fox news, which really shouldn't matter, here's another source.
Most of the propaganda against Iran in the recent past regarding nearly everything was going off what Mahmoud Ahmadinejad had said.
The U.S. was never looking for nuclear weapons, the justification for invading Iraq was that he had not made good on his resolutions in any capacity, such as treating his people better or allowing U.N. inspections; the fact that he still had a lot of weapons misplaced that the hadn't turned in was the justification. The fact we found WMD's and 500 tons of uranium was more or less icing on the cake. Preliminary findings on the issue were later proven wrong, by the Iraq Survey group (since the information was released in 2006, even though the materials and laboratories were found in 2004, as they were kept classified). Chemical and biological weapons labs, that included Botulinum toxin, or the single most poisonous toxin known, with 10-13 nanograms per kilogram capable of killing a person, were found, and he had long range missiles that he wasn't supposed to have.
Yellowcake uranium is a commonly traded commodity and not enriched and five years later after the war was removed and at the request of the Iraqi government because of the unstable nature of Iraq. The WMD's that were found dated back to the 1980's and were remnants of a forgotten by gone era in an unusable state, because after the Gulf War Saddam ordered his arsenal of chemical and biological weapons destroyed in 1991 and 1992 and halted nuclear weapons development, all in hopes of lifting crippling economic sanctions.
But don't take my word for it take the word of U.S. arms inspector Charles Duelfer final report on Iraq in 2004 which concluded Iraq had no WMD's.
If you want, I can discuss in length about real human rights violations instead of your literally, twisted view on the subject that Iran has committed. The worst thing Israel did is deny aid, which it didn't do, since it accepted and distributed aid, and provided aid on it's own? Come on.
U.N. Charter, Article 2(4) & 51 (1945); Declaration on Principles of International Law Concerning Friendly Relations…, Principle 1 (1970): Military action and occupations are legal only if they are for self-defense, or to directly benefit the native population. But studies show Israel is not just defending itself as it develops de-facto annexation with its settlements and separation barrier on occupied land, as it takes over most of the occupied territories (over 70%) for its own use and economic benefit, at the expense of the native population.
Geneva Conventions IV, Article 49(6) (1949): Immediately following 1967 war, Israel began building Israeli civilian settlements on Palestinian lands, eventually building over 200 settlements throughout the occupied territories, & settling over 400,000 Israeli civilians in them, displacing hundreds of thousands of Palestinian civilians from their own legally owned lands.
U.N. Charter, Article 2(4) (1945); Declaration on Principles of International Law Concerning Friendly Relations…, Principle 1 (1970): In violation of UN Partition Plan, Israel took extra 15% land in 1948, and then following 1967 war, Israel confiscated East Jerusalem and the Golan Heights.
Geneva Convention IV, Articles 45, 46 & 49 (1949), UN resolutions 194 (III) (General Assembly; 1948) & 237 (Security Council; 1967): Since 1910, in different ways, the Zionists and then Israel have taken Palestinian lands, and then refused the Palestinian landowners or tenants residency or employment on them, and then following fighting in 1948 and then again in 1967, refused re-entry to Palestinian civilians who wished to return to their homes in Israel and then the Occupied Territories (“right of return”), confining them to increasingly smaller areas of Israel and Occupied Territories, and then forbade some Arab family unifications (in 2002), in order to create an artificial demographic majority for themselves.
International Convention on the Suppression and Punishment of the Crime of Apartheid (1976): Israel’s society-wide system of discrimination and isolation of the Palestinian people within Israel, and its system of exploitation and oppression and isolation in the occupied territories, fits exactly the official, legal U.N. definition of Apartheid, which is considered to be a “Crime against Humanity”.
U.N. Charter, Article 1 (1945); Declaration on Principles of International Law Concerning Friendly Relations…, Principle 5 (1970): Studies by U.N., I.C.J., international H.R. organizations have found that Israel violates human rights of Palestinian people on a massive scale – a few examples – torture, imprisonment without charges or trial, land confiscation, harassment at checkpoints, unwarranted civilian shootings, not punishing Israeli settlers’ crimes against Palestinians, unwarranted disruption of medical care & commerce & employment & free movement, destruction of public and private property, family separation, etc.
Geneva Conventions IV, Article 33 (1949); Geneva Conventions (Protocol I), Article 75(2d) (1977): In response to Arab rebellion, Israeli Military takes massive action against entire Palestinian communities, for example destroying entire neighborhoods of homes, or confiscating communal farmlands. This is called Collective Punishment because it punishes entire communities for the actions of a few, and it does not solve the initial problem because it thus turns that entire community against Israel.
Hague Regulations IV, Article 43 (1907): Israel has created a dual legal system in the occupied territories – a democratic one linked to Israel for the Israeli settlements, and an oppressive, exploitive one for the Palestinian communities run by Israeli military committees and Israeli-controlled Civic Administrations, replacing all Arab government functions with Israeli military committees, and dismissing or deporting all Arab government officials.
U.N. Charter, Article 25 (1945); a few sample resolutions - 54, 111, 233, 234, 236, 248, 250, 252, 256, 262, 267, 270, 280, 285, 298, 313, 316, 468, 476, etc: Israel has violated many U.N. Security Council resolutions especially relating to its occupations, land annexations, military aggression, HR violations, etc.
There is lots more, but to say the only thing Israel has done wrong is refusing aid, is madness.
