Well, looks like I've got the day off tomorrow. By order of the governor, all public schools in cities or towns within ten miles of the coast are closed Monday. Yay panic!

My town got raped last year by Irene and snowmaggedon. Power was out for more than a week. The shit hit the fan. We're preparing for the worst.

I will, give me a few days.

But most of it's based on 3-4 main things- carbon dioxide is only important if it reaches the upper mid troposphere, and once it does, increasing the thickness won't do anything since it's more about distribution than amount or thickness. Carbon dioxide is heavier than air and clumps to the surface and even in the mid troposphere, there are areas with way higher thickness and they aren't really hotter at all. The whole idea is, infrared is reflected down, but it's reflected down near 100%, like a mirror; if you stacked 10 mirrors on top of each other, you aren't going to get 10 times the reflection.


Else it's effects are negligible. Also radiative losses are higher despite being 100% reflective due to the fact that some of it is lost as sensible and latent heat through convection and whatnot and the fact only about 50% of radiation that comes to the surface gets turned into infrared.

This proved by NASA and stuff etc.

Lol, no it hasn't. I have papers upon papers upon papers on how anthropogenic climate alteration is solid, unshakeable fact.


Like, it's so heavily proven now, it's no longer a thing that's studied (are we causing global warming), only the effects are looked into now.

Yeah, except that it's not.

I've already got stuff from NASA, who doesn't think it's happening, the EPA is upset it's included since most of the carbon dioxide stuff by the IPCC is still unsubstantiated, and even the IPCC's own inconsistencies, but to be thorough I'm getting as many sources as possible and disproving each little thing etc.


But go ahead and plz tell me how carbon dioxide levels magically rise temperature.
