No but the US sure as hell promotes conflict between Israel and it's neighbor states, and internal conflict within those states.

Based on what?

Me being knowlegeable and you being an ignorant twat?

So in other words, you have nothing?

Because the more obvious something is, the easier it is to prove and it seems like, if you could prove it, you would. Instead you resort to Ad Hominem's which is the indication of a uh, well feeble mind.

Yeah except I'm a PhD student and you're what... oh right, an idiot.

A professional idiot, I'll give you that, you should have business cards.

So in other words, you still lack any real evidence.

If you were really as smart as you say it would be easy to provide evidence and yet, you can't. What that speaks volumes to is the testament of not only ability to prove the information, but your character.

You continue to pretend that you're so smart and intelligent without really ever having anything to ever back it up. Which is fine if that's what you want to do, but at least it's obvious this is the case. And if it was just this issue that would be one thing, but time and time again this is all you do; so, can you see through your own B.S., or do you really believe it? That's what I want to know.

US aid to Israel totals about $3 billion a year. US aid to the Muslim countries surrounding Israel (Egypt, Jordan, the West Bank/Gaza, Iraq, and Lebanon) totals $4.6 billion a year. Math ftw.

Its the type of aid and not the aid itself.

Military aid to Israel = $3.1 billion
Military aid to the others listed = $1.975 billion.

So with Trump being elected any chance of support for the Syrian opposition is out the fucking window. I wonder how many Bashar will end up exterminating before the end of this war.

This does bother me, but honestly I didn't see a U.S. intervention as being plausible before it either. It means war with Russia.

It absolutely sickens me but I can't really find a logical way around this. The only thing I can think of is forming an international aid group made up out of U.S. veterans and then having them be "supported" by the U.S. Just like how the Russians pretended not to be in Ukraine and Syria to begin with, so should we pretend not to be there. To give us plausible deniability. We can't help what 100,000 paratroopers and special forces soldiers might do on their own initiative when they're on vacation.

You couldn't help stop the public shitstorm and congress either when they start coming home in body bags. Russia has reasonable control of internal information, the US doesn't. That's why Russia can use those tactics and the US can't.

There's a difference between denying the presence of certain groups entirely, such as Spetsnaz, and claiming they're there for a different reason.

Paper thin? Doesn't matter. The mere assertion is what matters.

You missed the point the difference is Russia can make their dead disappear, the US couldn't or wouldn't.

Motive, reason, excuse is irrelevant to my post.

Anyway special forces from NATO countries are already running around Syria.

No, I got it, I just don't think that it matters. Russia won't even acknowledge the existence of some of their troops, the U.S. would be saying they're on vacation. That would be our excuse for everything.

And it was a joke.

western militaries had little to do with the rise of Daesh, except of course for Turkey (if you consider Turkey part of the West, as they sort of are via NATO)

Only "moderates" got armed, but I'd like to know how they tested who was and wasn't moderate.
