I think I might like 16/06/07 better. Esp since that allows us to drop the 16 when it's obvious, and just use 06/07 ;)

I do it the standard American way. Doing it any other way would be confusing. But when I'm writing to a European I switch to the European style.

I do use big endian for date sorting, aye. Like if I'm making folder names with dates, I'll put the year first. But for most practical use cases, I'll use day-first. Ideally I'd love it if the OS would sort dates properly that way anyway, like how Windows used to sort numbers [1, 11, 2], but now properly sorts them [1, 2, 11].

When I want to human dates, DD/MM/YYYY

When I want to enumerate dates, Modified Julian Date.
