Here is a fun question. What is your fandom?

 

For those of you who do not know, a fandom is a community of fans of either a series, movie, book or anime.

 

I have multiple fandoms. They include Star Wars, Harry Potter, Anime such as Naruto Shippuden or Fairy Tail and much more.

 

So what is your fandom(s)?

I've dabbled to various degrees in the fan communities for Harry Potter, Haruhi Suzumiya, Clannad, Spice & Wolf, and many others, but I've never really engaged with those communities enough to properly consider myself part of their "fandom".

Little Big Planet!

I was on the front page of this game for a long while. My level had 100,000 plays and 27,000 hearts, a crazy high ratio in that game.

I got an Mm badge (developers pick) and was featured in an lbpcentral.com community spotlight episode.

I don't care what anybody's opinion is, LittleBigPlanet is the greatest game of ALL time, in the WHOLE multiverse.














This last image is from a Toyota sponsored contest entry I made. After I got second place I won a playstion move bundle, but I felt like should've won (the 54" 3d tv!) so I changed the ending to, "Toyota, moving forward. Even when you slam on the breaks.

HHGTTG, probably, uhhhh.... Invader zim? Ooh, probably Rick and Morty. But interestingly not Doctor Who. Which is interesting given at least part of HHGTTG is Doctor Who (third book, cool story). I guess I just hate the character.

 

Command and Conquer! and Starcraft. I once had (see: always and still do) a massive crush on Kerrigan and Kane, and had what one would call this day a crack ship of the two of them. My OTP, best idea ever

Oh also, Shokkou, I prefer Rise of Legends, cause the Vinci are amazing.

 

Uhhh, Dune yeah go for that... Warhammer/40k (to some extent, I'm a huge fan of the Chaos Gods, mostly Slaanesh <3)..... Ooh, very big on Welcome to Night Vale.

As we both know, I also enjoy Elder Scrolls. Haruhi is terrific!

Haruhi was one of the first anime I watched when I actually knew what anime was, and it's still one of my favorites. Yuki Nagato a besto.

 

Kimura was probably the second best character in Azumanga, after Osaka. His spiel about gym uniforms was great too.

Indeed. I once argued that she was a generic, cliche character to get a rise out of someone and felt like I needed to wash my mouth out with soap afterward.

I used to be a convention organizer. Happily I've kicked that habit; unfortunately it's only because there aren't really any conventions anymore, like in the old days.

What is a fandom? 

Basically a fandom is something that you feel passionate about and/or you are involved in the community of people who also enjoy that same thing. It could be almost anything from a tv show, to an entire genre, to a movie, to anime, video games or even sports if you really wanted it to be that.

I have a rock collection. Does that count?
It contains a gold plated Imagine by John Lennon album that's Ionized or somethin' so you can see his face and some lyrics on it. Also, Number of the Beast by Iron Maiden.

I have a golden 45 of Sting's first single as a solo artist.

 

Also, I have a gold-leaf imprinted leatherbound copy of The Hobbit.
