Even with super speed Superman is always like... slow... and rarely uses his laser vision. The Flash was once like "Should have used your laser vision" and superman was like "..."
But I can't find it at the moment, but Superman once sat there, berating Batman about how he had no super powers and could easily be defeated by anyone on the Justice league. While he was laughing, Batman punched him in the face with like a 10-100 million volt tazer knuckle, which knocked him to the ground. He didn't do any permanent damage but the wind was knocked out of him.
I imagine batman would like, throw a batarang at him, it would miss, Superman would be like "hehe..." and then it would come back and get him, like stab him in the back.
Electricity and a few other things, such as red sun radiation, have been shown to weaken him, other than krpytonite. There are some things that will even pierce his skin, but lasers have been shown to knock him unconscious, although not for long. He once fell towards earth from space, accelerating himself and smashing into the ground really hard, burning up Doomsday on his way down, but he almost died, in that his vitals slowed to a crawl, and his body started repeating itself, albeit slowly; so he doesn't die like normal humans. So enough force will knock him unconscious for a while.
But really.
Batman always has kryptonite.
Even in his normal suit, Batman was shown taking hits from wonder woman.
While his armored suit isn't that great, it can still take punches, and while superman is uber powerful, he likely wouldn't die from a glancing blow, but he would from a direct hit. Thus giving Batman enough time to respond back even with his super speed. Which has shown to be pretty slow actually.
