IMHO It like Minecraft in space but better. It more complex then Minecraft but it got no real enemys yet (unless you count the environment/other players on mutiplayer)

 

It still early in development.

 

I can't say it wroth 20 bucks if you like Minecraft in Space. Get it. If you like/want a more polish game then wait for a few mouths then get it.

 

The good thing it get updated every Thursday and I hope they put some enemy's on single player mode.

I particularily like setting asteroids to armageddon mode, and then building a defensive turret field to try and survive it.

I enjoyed it a lot for a few weeks on survival mode. But there's not really any end goal or direction for the game yet. You can build cool ships, but once you've got a mining vessel and a decent processing set up, you have all the resources you'd need for anything and it's just a matter of the time to weld together ships/structures. The meteors provide a slight challenge, but that's easily countered by building your base on the opposite side of an asteroid.

I think it has a lot of potential with some more development, but as it stands, it is amusing still, just maybe not the $20.

I've played it with a few friends. I agree on Phate there though that it lacks any kind of ending, or real settling objective. However, with the multiplayer, I could see people creating a good community around it, as well as faction warfare. You know, pull a Mount and Blade and see where it goes. If you're skeptical though, I'd wait for a sale. I think I bought mine on sale but I do not remember how much it was.
