The only thing on here I have owned which I do not currently own is my desktop computer. It got repurposed at some point and I have my laptop anyway. Everything else I still own, even if I don't use them anymore - like my PDA, portable media/MP3 player, and CD players of varying degrees of portability.

I cannot claim that, too many things died (PDA, basic cell phone, etc) and either got replaced by the new (smart phone, etc) or never got replaced.

I have three digital cameras: a movie-quality Canon XA10, a mid-range Sony consumer camcorder, and a Flip camera. The Flip is incredibly handy and useful, kind of a bummer they don't still make them. Otherwise I have what I imagine to be the "standard" set of personal electronics, such as a smartphone, computer, TV, etc. I don't own a gaming console, although from time to time I have done so (the last one was an Xbox 360); I end up using them a handful of times and then they become expensive dust collectors.

I'm not really a tech guy. I've actually taken a step back in recent years. For example I use to have a smartphone but I got tired of it so I got a flip phone instead. I still buy CDs and listen to them on my radio and in my truck, which uses a portable CD player connected to a cassette adapter. I still use the old TVs because you can get them basically for free. Really the most techy thing I own is the thing I'm using right now, a tablet, which I received for Christmas. Which makes my life easier because I got tired of sitting at my moms laptop for doing stuff like this, now I can chill on the couch and do this stuff. Idk I just try to have the least amount of distractions while also having things that allow me to do what I like to do. I find that when you own lots of different technology things, they kind of start to own you. Such as spending 16 hours a day with tech stuff and 8 hours sleeping, I didn't really feel like I was living anymore.
