I thought things were getting a bit stale with Bungie toward the end - as someone who followed them since the Marathon days, they seemed to become increasingly arrogant and self-entitled in the time after they split with Microsoft, so... I look forward to seeing what 343 can come up with :P

Forza is too realistic to my unrealistic approach to car racing games. I'm beast at N4SPD though.

That's fair :P

I quite liked NFS Shift and Shift 2, but that's because those were a move towards more realistic racing :$

When I was younger I did play a fair amount of NFS3 Hot Pursuit (The first old school one), NFS Underground, and Underground 2.

Yeah I get how many people like it to be realistic but I hate having to brake on turns. On Need for speed Hot Pursuit I never take my finger off the trigger. I keep it down the whole time. When I approach a turn I slam the hand brake button and drift. That's my favorite part, drifting. On Forza I have to break and when I try to drift bad things happen to my car. I'm not terrible though I'm just not good either.
