Aren't they awesome? I've never met anyone who knew what they were, let alone owned one, besides myself. Good to know I'm not alone in the world. :)

Nick, the one with me and the kid is Dix Mt. in the Adirondaks. The snowy one is Hunter Mt. in the Catskills. I do maybe 20 solo 15-20 mile backpacking trips a year, mostly solo cuz I have no one to hike with.
