Don't watch A Certain Magical Index and A Certain Scientific Railgun next to each other, at some time the timelines converge and you watch shit from different angles with different production angles.

There isn't too much difference story wise between 1 and 2 to be honest but as you say defiantly worth a watch before Army of Darkness.

I was a Fushigi Yuugi addict for a while back right around the end of the last century.

 

Naruto is just plain fun, and of course there are hundreds of episodes so it's a lot of fun, numerically speaking. But I have to say, if they had ever decided to make a Hinata spinoff I would probably be hopelessly addicted.
