If you could choose to possess one of the following superpowers, based on the four classical elements, which would you pick?
Earth. You have command over earth, rock, mineral, and ores, shaping them to your will. You can erect (heh) massive structures of stone or crystal, form glass from sand, create shapes and even animated items, like stone golems, that obey your will. You can create earthquakes.
Air. You command the winds, enabling you to create controlled tornadoes or hurricane-force blasts of wind. You can alter the direction, speed, and force of air currents at will. You can literally shape the wind, and by using it to carry yourself aloft you can fly. You can create hurricanes.
Fire. You can generate and control fire, altering its strength, intensity, and direction at will. You cannot be burned. You can form fire into basic shapes, even animate "fire golems," although these constructs have no solidity. You can project fire like a flamethrower, but you cannot use it to fly (you do not generate any thrust). At its greatest intensity your flame can generate enough heat to melt carbon steel (at least 2800°F/1540°C).
Water. You can shape and command water to obey your will, altering its direction and force, forming shapes, etc. An aspect of water is ice, which you can cause any water to become at will (although if the ambient temperature is above freezing any ice you create will immediately begin to melt and need to be periodically "reinforced"). You can create constructs of ice similar to the Earth powers above, and can create ice golems that obey your will. You can literally suck the moisture out of the air to create water. Given a sufficiently large source of water, you can create a powerful high-pressure blast of water like a fire hose, or even a tsunami (assuming a HUGE source of water).
