Pierce Brosnan is my favourite Bond actor. But apart from Goldeneye, which is a lot of fun, all of his movies are dreadful.

 

A better poll would be favourite Bond film.

If you ask about specific films, do you limit it to only Eon productions? Or do you include Never Say Never Again?

Well, I include Never Say Never Again in the list. But not the comedy version of Casino Royale.

Never Say Never Again starred Sean Connery, which to my way of thinking automatically qualifies it as a "real" Bond film, Broccoli family involvement or no.

 

I grew up with Roger Moore, who to me is the "real" James Bond.  But Daniel Craig just blows all the stuff that came before out of the water.  I think his Bond is superb.

 

The Connery movies are legendary, but when was the last time you actually went back and watched one?  They're pretty slow-paced by modern movie standards.

I watched Goldfinger last summer I think. Most of Connery's films honestly aren't that great but Goldfinger stands up very well.

I grew up with Pierce Brosnan however when I saw older Bonds I thought Brosnan was shite.
