[Conquest]

You all know the deal.

 

My only catch is that I am not defining what each do in ridiculous detail. The powers of a wizard, Jedi, and Dragon Rider are too spread out for me to list all of them. Besides lets be honest, you all probably know these better than I would.

 

Wizard

 

I am talking your Harry-Potter type of wizard. As in they cant use spells they do not know. But you can probably look them up.

 

- invisibility cloak

- potions as well

 

Jedi

 

Anything you know about Jedi is fair game I would say. Such as:

- Jedi mind control

- You get a lightsaber

- Force Jump

- Increased speed

etc etc

 

Vampire

 

- Can turn into a bat at night

- Has super human speed and agility

- Has a heightened sense of smell and can track very well

- Immortal

- Unless they get blood once every two days per say you will look extremely pale and people will notice something is wrong

- After the 2 days, sunlight will cause a fast sunburn. This intensifies as the days without feeding go on

- Can feed on animals though

 

Dragon Rider

 

- has a dragon friend who they are linked to

- Basically follows Eragon rules if you have read this series

I will also amend it that the dragons are more modern per say if this changes any minds...As in they are bullet proof and can fly fast enough to keep up with a Jet since otherwise they would easily be taken down.

 

After my roommates discussing it, I want to clarify more about the dragon rider...

 

Dragon Rider Skills:

 

- Can use Magic...dont forget about this

- Can penetrate minds

- Also you will get a Dragon Riders sword

- Dragon can be whatever size you want

- Souls connected (this means that if your dragon dies you lose your powers)

 

 

there is only one rule...

DO NOT BLOW IT OUT OF PORPORTION

 

For example....when asked what superpower you would want, do not say invulnerability. If there is some gimmick I missed that makes one ridiculously overpowered then feel free to mention it and exclude it. If it was obvious, it wouldnt be a poll now would it

First, I have to vote Jedi out of loyalty to Star Wars. Though my loyalty to HP is a close second.

 

Secondly, I feel like the enhanced reflexes of a Jedi combined with force abilities over rules just the similar abilities of a wizard.

I really wanted to choose Dragon Rider but it is not practical in today's world. So Jedi is the obvious choice

I went with wizard.  It offers the broadest range of abilities.  Jedi are cool, don't get me wrong, but there are a lot of things a wizard can do that a Jedi cannot.  Vampire is tempting for the immortality, but the drawbacks, in this context, are too great.  Dragon Riders are meh.

Nah, look at the things powerful wizards like Voldemort and Dumbledore could do.  Energy generation and manipulation, conjuration, rearrangement of matter on a massive scale, etc.  Jedi can't do anything approaching this.  Telekinesis and force lightning are their most powerful weapons, which would be very basic wizard abilities.

 

It hurt to vote against Star Wars, but if I'm being honest I'd rather be a wizard.

Hard not to choose vampire here. Less traditional hinderences (can go out in sunlight if you have fed and no hinderence to garlic).

Jedi would be #2 but I didn't want to be the trendy.

Wizards can fly, and they don't need a dragon to do it.  That's kind of the clincher for me.

Personally I voted Dragon Rider. I changed my mind after looking at it. Besides the negative of needing food, they can live for hundreds of years. It is enough that you are not immortal, but you also get to live for a long time and have a lifelong pet/friend. You can use magic like the others and can have increased speed through magic.

 

They dont have to be afraid of sunlight either. The biggest negative I saw was that what the hell would I do with the dragon. My yard isnt big enough for a decent sized dragon ya know? 

 

Either way being a dragon rider would be awesome haha

That was the problem for me I would only choose that if I lived in Alysgasia or middle earth
