oooh o: I didn't think anyone would use a felt (porous point) pen.
Seriously... who uses fountain pens anymore? Oi the mess
My handwriting is so shit, it doesn't matter. So, why not make it classy? Plus, most newer fountains and inks are far less likely to leak. The powers of improved technology :3
This. I use a fountain pen when doing something relatively formal, like writing a letter or doing a final draft of poetry; a rollerball pen otherwise.
You have to use them with special ink when signing official documents, was like "wtf" when they passed me a fountain pen that had been dipped in ink to sign my sons birth certificate....did I mention I'm left handed too.... could of bitch slapped the person for taking the piss.
You have to sign your child's birth certificate?
Here ours are only signed by someone from the Office of Vital Statistics, and that's it. Or at least that was the case when I was born; now I believe they're barcoded, so they might not be signed at all.
